Dish of the Month
Chicken Green Peppers Black Bean Sauce – £5.80
Includes boiled rice, chips or add fried rice for 20p or noodles for 50p
This Chicken in black bean sauce is a classic Chinese recipe, and also one of the most popular dishes served at So Good also one of my favourites. This is cooked in a sauce made from fermented, salt-preserved soybeans. It is a homemade cooking sauce rather than a table sauce or condiment and has a subtle, deeply savoury taste. This dish will not only make your mouth water, it is a staple of Cantonese home-cooking. full of healthy ingredients such as garlic, ginger, peppers and other vegetables. it’s a great meal to have if you’re on a balanced diet or trying to make better culinary choices.
I recommend that everyone that loves Chinese food to give this amazing dish a try.
Served best with plain steamed rice for a great meal.
